Welcome to SARSIThe South Asian River Skills Institute (SARSI) represents the fruits of collaborative training between private companies in the USA and the Indian Government, specifically the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Started in 2005, SARSI aims to become the leading source of professional and recreational river-skills education in India while promoting intercultural fellowship and partnership. Drawing on the magnificent whitewater and swiftwater resources of Arunachal Pradesh, SARSI conducts training and multi-day educational courses in its Himalayan backyard. Located in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, SARSI is no more than a days drive from 5 of India's greatest rivers: the Kameng, the Subansiri, the Siang, the Dibang, and the Lohit. Courses are conducted on the Siang and Subansiri, sources of excellent class II-V whitewater.
